I Love My Soleil Swim Swimsuit

I Love My Soleil Swim Swimsuit

I’ve been in the swimming pool since before my mom started Swimco in 1975 in Calgary. I swam on the Barracuda’s swim team at Killarney Pool as a kid, I worked as a lifeguard at Acadia Pool during High School, and I swam lengths at the University of Calgary pool while pursuing a degree.

Today, I swim in a Master’s program at the Glenmore Pool.

Swimmers are creatures of habits. Personally, I like going to the same workout each week, with the regular coach, the right lane, and of course familiar, friendly faces. It’s the same with gear. I’ve been swimming with the same Aqua Sphere Mako Goggles for years. I like my Speedo Power Plus Hand Paddles, my Speedo Kickboard, and then there’s the swimsuit. Men are easy, they go for their regular Speedo or TYR. For women, there’s more going on; coverage, support, strap style and of course, colour.

Working in the swimwear business, we watched Speedo and TYR compete in the lane swimming and aquacise market for years. In the past few years, we worked with TYR to help develop some of the most loved ladies swimwear styles like the Splice Polyester One Piece, High Neck Colourblock One Piece, and Polyester Aqua Tank One Piece. Swimco also developed these same ladies swimwear styles under our own brand name of Soleil Swim.

Today, TYR is hard to find in the Canadian market. You will however, find the same Splice Polyester One Piece, High Neck Colourblock One Piece, and Polyester Aqua Tank One Piece styles in the Soleil Swim line available only at Swimco.

Drop by a store in Calgary or Edmonton, or dive into swimco.com to find a Soleil Swim swimsuit that will become your new favorite for swimming lengths or an aquatic workout.
