A changeroom story from Annette, South Edmonton Common Shift Leader
“I had a customer come in with her daughter looking for a new suit. The daughter mentioned that she had bought them a mother daughter trip to Mexico, and they were looking for a suit for her mom.
The mom mentioned that she had not worn a swimsuit for many many years and wasn't sure on size or style but told me that most suits were too long in the body for her. So we decided to try some tankinis as well as a few one pieces that I knew fit a bit shorter in the body.
Once in the fitting room she did get a little frustrated because she felt it was the wrong size. Her daughter did step in and tell her that she just wasn't used to wearing one and that they were meant to fit snug. We all had a good chuckle and did confirm that she was in the correct size!
She started to feel more comfortable with me, and after some adjustments on the style we were able to get her into two suits that she felt confident in. She left with a Gottex one piece, and a skirted bottom to go with a popular Miraclesuit tankini top.
She thanked me for my service and patience and said that she was so thrilled that she not only found 2 suits that were suitable but that she felt confident in them as well. I told her it was our pleasure, and our goal is always to have you leave happy and to feel good in your body.”

Celebrate 48
May is a month that is near and dear to Swimco. On May 5th, 1975 Swimco was born. 48 years later we are thrilled to be celebrating another anniversary with our incredible customers and amazing staff, some of whom have been with Swimco for close to 30 years. This year, we want to celebrate with an Anniversary Sale. Keep an eye out for the official announcement coming soon!
